The City of Marietta is seeking applications from individuals interested in volunteering to serve on the Ethics Committee.

The City of Marietta is seeking applications from individuals interested in volunteering to serve on the Ethics Committee. The Committee will make the appointment to fill the vacancy following personal interviews. Applicants must be a resident of the City of Marietta and shall be an attorney in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia.
The purpose of the Ethics Committee is to review all complaints filed and determine whether there is clear and convincing evidence that a city council member has violated this ethics code. The Ethics Committee consists of three persons, one appointed by the Mayor, one appointed by the Council, and the third appointed by the first two above named subject to approval by a majority of the City Council.
