Why are you seeking elective office?

For over 30 years I have been working first to incorporate Sandy Springs and now to continue to improve Sandy Springs. I have received no personal benefits from serving on the City Council, nor do I expect to.

The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Public safety, in our 2nd council meeting in September we gave all of our police a pay raise and gave an additional 15% increase to the starting salaries of beginning officers to aid in recruiting new and qualified officers.
In addition I have worked these years to protect our neighborhood from the developers who seek only profit from unwanted development of our special city.

What are your short- and long-term goals if you are elected?

Keeping Sandy Springs safe, Protecting our neighborhoods and continuing our unbroken years of balancing our budget. 16 years and no operational debt.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I am not an apartment developer! I am a conservative who is only working to improve the quality of life in our wonderful city!

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am not a developer, I am a fiscal conservative who has worked to make our city great and will continue to work for all the residents of Sandy Springs.
