How To Recycle Your Christmas Tree In Sandy Springs (ICYMI)
Keep North Fulton Beautiful will host its annual Bring One for the Chipper program on Jan. 5.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — If you've kicked off 2019 with your Christmas tree still taking up space in your living quarters, Keep North Fulton Beautiful will provide you with an opportunity to (finally) dispose of this item.
Sandy Springs residents can take advantage of a free service offered in collaboration with The Home Depot. From 9 a.m to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, residents can drop off their live trees at two locations:
- The Home Depot (near the garden department) at 6400 Peachtree Dunwoody Road.
- Sandy Springs Recycling Center at 470 Morgan Falls Road.
If you are planning to drop off your tree for recycling, be sure to remove any decorations (lights, tinsels, ornaments, etc). You're also asked to be sure the tree has not been flocked, or sprayed with fake snow made from artificial materials.
