Master Home Remodelers Wins National CotY Award
Master Home Remodelers recently won a National Contractor of the Year Award in the category of Commercial Specialty.
Master Home Remodelers recently won a Contractor of the Year Award (CotY) from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry in the category of “Commercial Specialty.” Prior to advancing to the national level, the project, which is located at Colony Square, had placed first in both the local and regional NARI competitions.
Master Home Remodelers is a family-owned, full-service remodeling company serving the metro Atlanta area. The company specializes in whole house renovations/expansions, kitchens, bathrooms, basements and outdoor living spaces.
Each year, NARI presents CotY Awards to members who have demonstrated outstanding work through their remodeling projects. The CotY Awards are the highest form of recognition by industry leaders and peers. For the 2022 awards, NARI received 410 entries from across the United States. The judging panel selected winners based on problem solving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation and degree of difficulty.

The client for the “Commercial Specialty” project wanted an attractive, functional outdoor entertainment space in the bustling heart of the city with a modern aesthetic that provides lighting and protection from the elements. The white tongue-and-groove louvers of the opening roof system help reduce heat gain and provide reflected light at night. The new outdoor area serves as a seamless extension of the existing space, increases curb appeal and provides year-round comfort and dining intimacy.
“Outdoor spaces are now more highly prized than ever by our commercial and residential clients,” said Mark Galey, MCR, CRPM, president of Master Home Remodelers. “We are honored to have received this national award and especially grateful that the project is located in Atlanta, where our beautiful weather enables us to enjoy spaces like this during multiple seasons.”
