- Despite undergoing a name change, this local favorite eatery is still serving up the same delicious food. Brothers Andy and Glenn McDaniel recently changed the name of their barbecue restaurant from Slope's BBQ to McDaniel's QN2. The owners said that the name was changed in order to honor their family's hard work that went into creating such a successful and beloved local establishment. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
- Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has reportedly sent target letters to allies of former president Donald Trump, indicating that she is close to indicting them for selecting fake electors after Joe Biden won the presidential election in Georgia. The recipients allegedly include some of Trump's closest allies in Georgia. In an interview, Willis also said that there is a possibility that Trump himself would be indicted. (The Atlanta Voice)
- The long-dilapidated Briarcliff Mansion could be receiving significant restorations thanks to a local community developer. The Atlanta Preservation Center is in the early stages of undertaking a project which will attempt to restore the historic building and preserve its stories and structure.
