North Springs High School Expands Magnet Offerings
Launches Exciting New Career-Focused Program for Rising 9th and 10th Graders

North Springs High School now offers an exciting new opportunity for rising ninth and tenth graders. The Accelerated Career Diploma (ACD) program, unique in North Fulton, is an innovative program that allows students to earn a high school diploma, free college credits, and two professional certifications in high-demand fields such as cybersecurity, healthcare, welding, and HVAC.
In partnership with Gwinnett Technical College, students select from three ACD pathways, graduate in three or four years, and have the opportunity to go directly to the workforce or to college. In addition to career training, North Springs offers students a well-rounded high school experience, including opportunities to pursue a STEAM Magnet certification, choose from 26 Advanced Placement (AP) classes, and participate in 60+ extracurricular activities and clubs. North Springs also offers 17 varsity, JV, and freshman sports teams, providing the opportunity to build leadership and teamwork skills that complement academic and career preparation.
Transportation is provided for ACD students from their home schools to North Springs and from North Springs to Gwinnett Technical College, ensuring access and convenience. Students from all Fulton County School attendance zones are eligible to apply. All interested students, parents, and families should plan to attend an Accelerated Career Diploma Information Night on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the school’s Media Center, 7447 Roswell Road NE, Sandy Springs, 30328.

They will be able to plan to go straight to the workforce in high demand, high wage roles, or pursue a college degree.”
