Officer Struck in Hit-And-Run During Sandy Springs Traffic Stop
Police have released a dashcam image of the suspect vehicle in hopes you can help identify the suspect, according to Sandy Springs Police.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Police are hoping the public can help identify the driver of a car that struck an officer Friday night, causing minor injuries, according to Sandy Springs Police.
The car is described as possibly being a bright blue compact Ford. A dashcam photo of the vehicle was shared on social media.
"The vehicle struck a police officer while on a traffic stop on Roswell Road near Morgan Falls Road, just before 9 p.m.," according to the message from police. The vehicle fled the scene.

The officer was transported to the hospital due to minor injuries.
