Package Theft Suspect Arrested In Sandy Springs
The Sandy Springs resident is accused of taking packages from residents in the Overton Hills neighborhood.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Sandy Springs police have identified and arrested a man accused of swiping packages from doorsteps in a neighborhood.
Police identified the subject as Randy Lavern Lowe, 48, of Sandy Springs, who is accused of taking packages from homes in the Overton Hills community.
"Many of the victims had security footage of the suspect," said Sandy Springs police spokesperson Sgt. Sam Worsham.

Lowe was tracked down and taken into custody. He was booked in to the Fulton County Jail on Saturday, Jan. 5 on two counts of misdemeanor theft by taking charges. Jail records show he was also wanted on a warrant issued by the Chattooga County Sheriff's Office. He remains held at the facility.
Sandy Springs Police Department investigators are asking anyone with information about thefts in this area to call the agency at 770-551-6900.
