Sandy Springs Election Results 2021: Unofficial Results Tallied

SANDY SPRINGS GA — Election Day is over in Sandy Springs, and voters have cast their ballots in the 2021 municipal election. Fulton County posted unofficial results online at 1:51 a.m. on Wednesday morning.

This year, voters in Sandy Springs decided on races for City Council.

Incumbent Rusty Paul took on Dontaye Carter for mayor. As of 1:51 a.m., Paul led the race with 11,893 votes out of the more than 17,000 cast.

Incumbent John Paulson and Megan Harris are competing for District 1. Paulson led Harris with 1,847 of the 2,920 votes cast.

Melody Kelley and Linda Trickey are vying for District 2. As of 1:51 a.m., the race was tight with Kelley leading with only 32 votes over Trickey.

Distrist 3 will have Eric Newberg, Melissa Mular or Leslie Mullis. Mular had the lead at 1:51 a.m., with 2,207 of the 4,351 votes cast. Mullis was in second, with Newberg in third.

Four are seeking the District 4 spot, including Vernon Graham, Michelle Sullivan, incumbent Jody Reichel and Tochie Blad. Reichel held on at 1:51 a.m., with 1,136 of the 2,196 votes. The others ranked Blad, Sullivan, then Graham.

Incumbent Tibby DeJulio and Colin Hubbard are taking on District 5. DeJulio led with 1,793 votes of the 2,602 cast as of 1:51 a.m.

Two are vying for District 6, including incumbent Andy Bauman and Jeff Howe. Bauman led at 1:51 a.m. with 1,732 of the 2,771 votes cast.
