- Sandy Springs Police arrested four people in connection to a violent home invasion earlier this month at a local celebrity's home. Marlo Hampton of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" watched on her security cameras on July 1 as the masked men kicked in her door and made an attempted burglary. Investigations revealed that this case is linked to at least 15 other incidents in the area. (WSB Atlanta)
- A developer successfully secured rezoning privileges to build 15 townhomes at 6669 Peachtree Dunwoody Road. Sandy Springs City Council approved the rezoning in a Tuesday meeting, though initial plans for the property led to some concern from neighbors. The developer, Gary Hammond, constructs affordable housing across five southern states. (The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
- QC Kinetix is a unique clinic in Sandy Springs offering treatments to patients using regenerative medicine. Although fairly new to the medical field, these treatments are being used to treat a variety of conditions.
