Wine Making Class On Feb. 2 In Sandy Springs

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — A Sandy Springs business is offering you a chance to learn how to make the perfect bottle of wine to enjoy with your significant other on Valentine's Day.

Beer & Wine Craft is selling tickets for its wine-making class, which will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2. The class will expose you to the process of making this good stuff using "premium quality grape juice varietals," according to its website.

Participants will get a first-hand experience in wine creation, from fermentation to degassing and clarifying to bottling. Of course, you'll be able to take home your own hand-crafted bottle of wine to savor over dinner.

If you can't make the Feb. 2 class, upcoming sessions will be held March 16, April 6, May 4, June 8, July 16, Sept. 7, Oct. 5, Nov. 9 and Dec. 7. Beer & Wine Craft is located in the Springs Landing shopping center at 220 Sandy Springs Circle.

Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased on the company's website. You should note that fees are not refundable, but you will be able to reschedule to a different date if you are unable to make the first class you chose.
