Future Stars Is Back with a New Performer and Crowd Favorites

The next musical event will take place at Durty Nellie's Sunday, February 20 from 4 - 7pm. Submit your demo now for the March Future Stars!

The recently founded Future Stars event continues to cast a well-deserved spotlight on talented youth performers – either solo artists or bands – from the northwest suburbs. The third event since Future Stars began last fall will take place at Durty Nellie’s on the main stage Sunday, February 20th from 4-7 p.m. Two solo artists, Jagger and Sara Bella will perform, and the band, David’s House will be the headliner. Jagger is a newcomer to the Future Stars family, while Sara Bella provided an impressive and beautiful ‘sneak peak’ performance at the close of the November event - when David’s House was the opening act - that quite literally ‘rocked the house’ with the high energy of this 8-member group!

Singers or bands (up to the age of 18/senior in high school) must reach out and submit a demo and go through a vetting process to be invited to perform at a Future Stars event. These youthful entertainers can be invited back to subsequent events based on overall performance and crowd response. The goal of Future Stars is to provide professional marketing, public relations and promotion, along with a stage and enthusiastic audience to appreciate the talents these young people bring - to help them to grow musically and in front of a crowd. Jason Stallard of Love Local Off 53, a community-building brand that highlights businesses/organizations in the northwest suburbs through videos and podcasts, is a co-founder and co-emcee for Future Stars. Over the last few months, he’s noted the maturity of the young people who have performed so far, which have included the bands Voodoo Dolls, Kung Fu Sleepover, Collision and David’s House, along with solo artist, Sara Bella. “They’ve really impressed us all with how they carry themselves, and with the intensity in which they focus on growing and improving their talents while on stage,” he said.
