The all-ages STEAM celebration on November 8 features hands-on activities in graphic arts, health and wellness, law enforcement and more

Harper College invites the community to campus for Harper Experience Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, November 8. The free, family-friendly event will take place in the Avanté Center (Building X) and Career and Technical Education Center (Building H) on Harper’s Palatine campus, 1200 W. Algonquin Road.
This STEAM celebration is geared to students in third through 12th grades and offers a hands-on introduction to the sciences, technology, engineering, arts, math and more. Guests can step inside Harper’s modern labs and collaborative classrooms to experience learning in action.

Experience Day activities in graphic arts, law enforcement and forensics, and health and wellness will showcase how curiosity and creativity come together in real-world applications. Younger children can explore through exciting, interactive projects, while high school students and parents can tour the college’s facilities and speak with Harper faculty and students.
