Palatine American Legion holds Santa Breakfast
The Sons of the American Legion are holding a special Holiday pancake breakfast with Santa which is open to the public on December 13th.

The Sons of the American Legion (S.A.L.) are holding a special Holiday pancake breakfast with Santa which is open to the public on Saturday, December 13th from 8:30 AM until 11:30 AM at the American Legion Hall 122 West Palatine Road in Palatine to raise funds for Legion Family Charities.
“We are celebrating the Holidays at this pancake breakfast,” said Mike Rocha, Commander of the S.A.L. “We will be holding our breakfast upstairs in our hall. Santa will be joining us from 8:30 AM until 11:30 AM. Children will be able to tell Santa what they want for Christmas and get a picture with Santa.”
The S.A.L. will be serving “all you can eat” pancakes and French toast. With the pancakes and French toast, the S.A.L. will serve sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, fruit, orange juice, coffee, hot chocolate and milk. The breakfast costs $11.00 for adults, veterans for $6.00, $6.00 for children 5 to 10 years old and children 4 years old and under are free.

The Sons of the American Legion was created in 1932 as an organization within the American Legion. The S.A.L. is made up of boys and men of all ages whose parents or grandparent served in the United States military and became eligible for membership in the American Legion. There are currently 300,000 members of the S.A.L. in this country and abroad.
The Palatine Chapter holds their monthly general meeting on the third Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM at the American Legion Hall on Palatine Road in Palatine.
