Palatine Park District To Host 'Summer Fun At Home'

The park district is offering a collection of crafts and activities for kids that can be done in the safety of their own home.

PALATINE, IL—Looking for a way to keep the kids safely entertained during the summer? Is you answered, "yes," then the Palatine Park District has you covered.

Through its "Summer Fun At Home" program, the park district is offering a collection of crafts and activities for kids that can be done in the safety of their own home.

Each week will be a different theme. Next week will be "Summer Super Hero." Activities are designed for children age 5-9 and all materials will come in a handy tote bag that registrants can pick up at the community center.

Pick up for the kits will be Monday, June 8 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Safety practices will be followed when packing the kits and during pick up.
