Boston Shooting Victim Identified As Young Malden Woman
The victim died last week after sustaining injuries last month.
MALDEN, MA — One victim of a Boston shooting that took place last month has been identified as a Malden resident.
G’Kiyah Lewis, 18, died on Friday, Nov. 7 after battling her injuries from the incident for nearly one month. She was one of three people shot on Hiawatha Road in the Mattapan neighborhood on Saturday, Oct. 11. The other victims’ injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
The Boston Police Department said the investigation into the incident is active and ongoing, and no arrests have been made yet.
