Creative Malden Seeking Creators For Upcoming Art Show

MALDEN, MA — Coffee Shop Artists, a group of creators based in Malden, Melrose, and Medford, are soliciting artistic submissions for its upcoming March show in collaboration with Creative Malden.

“Our Warming Planet” is slated for Friday, March 7 from 6p.m. to 8 p.m. on 350 Main St. Submissions can range from photography, painting, paper art, or fabric art. The group is requesting pieces be submitted in the format of JPEGs no larger than 24” by 24” with their titles, price, and categories included. Those who submitted art will be notified by Friday, Feb. 21 if their piece is being used.

Creative Malden is a nonprofit organization founded in 2022 that aims to provide accessible and affordable artistic opportunities to the city. Through financial assistance from Mayor Gary Christenson, Creative Malden now has permanent location on Pleasant Street.
