Discolored Water A Possibility In Malden Water Flushing

The city is planning to run water flushing work along a stretch of Main Street.

MALDEN, MA — Water flushing on Main Street in Malden may lead to discolored water on Friday, the city warned on Friday morning.

The Water Utilities Department will flush for roughly one hour following reports of low pressure. Flushing will take place between Main Street's intersections with Orient and Forest Streets.

The city did not provide a specific timing for this work, saying it would take place "midday."
