Malden Brewery Hosts Opera Singer For Holiday Food Drive

MALDEN, MA — Craft beer, opera music and holiday songs will come together this weekend for a planned event to benefit Bread of Life in Malden, the staff at Idle Hands Craft Ales recently announced.

Idle Hands will host the “Carols for a Cause” event on Sunday at 2 p.m. at its taproom on Commercial Street.

Natalja Sticco of the Mystic Side Opera Company will headline the event, joining a group of special guests for what Idle Hands on Tuesday described in an event announcement as “a fun and family friendly afternoon of Christmas carols and holiday classics.”

Rather than sell tickets, Idle Hands has planned the event as a food drive and fundraiser, collecting non-perishable food items and monetary donations for Bread of Life, which works to fight food insecurity in the Malden area.

Idle Hands is located at 89 Commercial St.
