Malden Feeds 1,800 On Christmas Day: Report

MALDEN, MA — Project Ezra had another successful year of providing meals to those in need on Christmas Day, according to a report from 7 News Boston.

This year, the project fed approximately 1,800 people. The effort began more than 30 years ago when the Temple Tifereth Israel on 539 Salem St. teamed up with the Bread Of Life food bank. Volunteers arrived at Malden High School at 2 a.m. Christmas morning to begin preparing the meals.
