Malden To Host Community Meeting On Formulating Climate Action Plan

The virtual meeting will be held on July 20 via Zoom.

MALDEN, MA — The City of Malden is inviting community members to attend a virtual meeting regarding climate change adaptation and mitigation measures in the city on July 20 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. via Zoom.

The city is conducting this meeting as part of its efforts to formulate a Climate Action Plan, which will detail a list of strategies that will help improve the city’s preparedness for climate change and meet broader environmental sustainability goals.

During the meeting, community members will be able to share how climate change has affected them as well as what types of strategies they would like included in the Climate Action Plan.
