The Fellsmere tree lighting is organized by City Councilor-at-Large Craig Spadafora, Ward 3 City Councilor Amanda Linehan and Malden Mayor Gary Christenson.

Upcoming holiday celebrations come as Malden continues its separate 2022 "Merry Malden" toy and clothing drive. The program got underway earlier this month and is ongoing, collecting donations for Malden children in need.
