Malden Police Seek Public’s Help In Assault Investigation

Police said the assault last week was "random and unprovoked."

MALDEN, MA — Malden Police this week said they’re still seeking the public’s help to identify a person linked to a recent physical assault.

Police first shared photos last week. Police then shared a new message on Wednesday, still seeking information.

The assault, police said, took place before 8:20 p.m. on Thursday of last week at a business in the Malden Square area of Malden.

Police said the assault was “random and unprovoked.”

Police have asked anyone who can help identify the individual pictured in images related to the case to call them at 781-397-7171.

“Aside from contacting the police department for assistance, do not attempt to approach or intervene,” police said.
