'They have gone above and beyond': Malden Local Hero
We all know someone who's making a difference. Let's help share their amazing stories! Presented by Ring.

MALDEN, MA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. But rarely do they get the spotlight they deserve. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.
Here at Patch, we've begun an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we're working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.
This submission comes from Gina Ciampi, who nominated Robin and Brian Jorgensen. Ciampi says the Jorgensens have "gone above and beyond to help me and my family, who are currently in shelter." The Jorgensens have always helped families in need, but they have especially stepped up during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"I had a problem with a SNAP card. It broke in half, and I can’t go to office to get a replacement," Ciampi writes. "I called Robin, and she does what she does best. I had food for my family that night. Also, my daughter will be 13, and she made sure I had a gift for her!"
Thank you for all you do, Robin and Brian!
