First-ever Craft Crawl Coming To Newton
The day offers interactive learning experiences to the community.

NEWTON, MA — The city’s first ever Craft Crawl is taking place this Saturday, Dec. 14 at 10 different locations.
Each location will offer a unique craft-making experience, including silkscreen printing and bookmaking classes at Shepherd and Maudsleigh Studio on Dunstan Street, gingerbread house holiday ornament creation at Creation Station in Auburndale, glass mosaic-making and knitting at Knot and Purl on Lincoln Street, and Edible holiday trifle making at Third Space Kitchen on Winchester Street.
The event is organized by All Over Newton, who described the experience as where families and friends can bond through creative experiences guided by the city’s experts.

“Newton is filled with creative outlets and the Craft Crawl is a fun way to try them without making a big commitment,” Event Organizer Laura Berman said. “At the end of the day, Crawlers head home with their ‘I made it myself’ works of art to show off, treasure, or gift for the holidays. “But, most importantly, we hope it’s a day that creates great memories and new community connections.”
