Lasell University Helping Students With Financial Struggles
Tuition will soon be free for certain undergraduate students.

NEWTON, MA — Lasell University announced that it will be providing free tuition for students whose families make less than $100,000 per year collectively.
The new program is called the Lasell Tuition Commitment and will soon be available for first-time and full-time undergraduate students who qualify. According to the University, the program was made possible financially through combining state and federal grants with scholarships. Eligibility for participating students will be renewed annually, and room and board costs will not be included. Students will not need to complete a separate application beyond FAFSA to qualify.
Lasell University was founded in 1851. Its 54-acre campus is located on 1844 Massachusetts Avenue.
