Newton Community Pride To Host Fall Village Concert Series
The concerts will run from Sept. 11 through Oct. 2 and highlight several talented singers, songwriters, and musicians from Newton.
NEWTON, MA — Newton Community Pride (NCP) will host four Sunday afternoon village concerts in Newtonville, Newton Upper Falls, Newton Corner, and Nonantum this fall, the organization said Tuesday.
The concerts will run from Sept. 11 through Oct. 2 and highlight several talented singers, songwriters, and musicians from Newton, including Hankus Netsky, Chad Perrone and OlgaLisovskaya.
“We are delighted to bring this year’s fall concert series to several villages across the city,” Gloria Gavris, Board Chair of Newton Community Pride, said in a statement. "In addition to returning to Newtonville, this is the first time NCP will be offering live music in Upper Falls, Newton Corner and Nonantum. We are thrilled to bring the community together in these neighborhoods for a musical afternoon for everyone to enjoy. We look forward to welcoming the fall season and building community with music and song."
