Newton Has A Show-filled September Scheduled
A concert series is coming to the city next month.
NEWTON, MA — The Fall Village Concert Series is returning this year, with Newton Community Pride announcing important upcoming dates.
September has three straight Sundays with free concerts scheduled for the community. The first show will be held on Sept. 14 at Trio Newton on Washington Street. The concert will feature the local band Jazz Barracudas. Sept. 21’s concert will feature a 3 p.m. afternoon performance by Christopher Steele at the Upper Fall Depot on Oak Street. Finally, the series is anchored by the duo known as Jim and Nick at 3 p.m. on Newton Centre Plaza.
“We look forward to highlighting local talented singers, songwriters, and musicians in our shared spaces”, NCP Executive Director Blair Lesser Sullivan said.

NCP stated that free cultural and community experiences are its goal with the concert series. The Village Bank was named as the concert series’s primary sponsor.
