Newton Partners With Bus Company To Provide Airport Transportation
Blue Apple Bus Company is looking to be in Newton long-term with its new daily service.
NEWTON, MA — A new bus service is here to stay providing transportation to and from Boston Logan Airport.
Blue Apple Bus will begin regular rides from the Newton-Riverside MBTA station to the airport on Friday, Nov. 14. Blue Apple President and CEO John Cogliano announced that the daily service will include 13 inbound trips and 14 outbound, for the cost of $15 each way. The inbound service to the airport will run between the hours of 3:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m., while outbound rides will take place between 5:45 p.m. and 1 a.m.
Cogliano has previous experience as the Massachusetts Secretary of Transportation and Chairman of the MBTA, Commissioner of the Massachusetts Highway Department, and the Chairman and CEO of the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority. He said that ride frequency has the potential to increase if the service becomes popular.

Blue Apple Bus Company was founded in 2022 that has since specialized in express service to the airport. Governor Maura Healey and Newton Mayor Ruthanne Fuller have both expressed their support and satisfaction with the partnership between the bus service and the state.
Parking is available at the Newton-Riverside station in lot 4372.
