Newton School Appoints New Leader
Jackson Walnut Park School is a private school for children for 18 months to 11 years old.

NEWTON, MA — Jackson Walnut Park School has a new leader for the 2025 school year and beyond.
Patricia Lynn Gray has been appointed Head of School at the early education and elementary school located on 200 Jackson Road. Gray entered the education field 16 years ago after nearly 30 previous years as a corporate executive. Her last position was at a school in Kansas City, Missouri that is very similar to Jackson Walnut in structure in which she served as principal. During Gray’s tenure, enrollment at Notre Dame de Sion increased by 37 percent and was recognized locally as one of the better schools of its kind.
“Patricia’s leadership experience, particularly in a Catholic independent school that integrates early childhood Montessori education with rigorous elementary academics, makes her a perfect fit for Jackson Walnut Park School,” Co-chairpersons of Jackson Walnut Park’s Board of Trustees Patricia de Leeuw and Michael Callnan said in a joint statement. “Her dedication to fostering a vibrant learning environment and her strong sense of community will help guide us into an exciting new chapter.”
