NEWTON, MA — Trader Joe's announced its newest Newton store will officially open on Thursday, Nov. 13. The new location on 165 Needham St. will launch with a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. led by Store Captain Joe Gionet and the rest of its staff, made up of more than 70 employees. Through the business's Neighborhood Shares Program, all unsold products that are still fit for use will be donated to local organizations to help those in need. The other Trader Joe's location can be found on 1121 Washington St. in West Newton. The chain originated in California and now has more than 600 locations throughout the country.
