Steve Carell Spotted Shopping In Chestnut Hill

CHESTNUT HILL, MA — Steve Carell was spotted by fans while out shopping at The Shops at Chestnut Hill Saturday afternoon, reported The Boston Globe.

Carell, a Massachusetts native and star of “The Office” and Hulu’s “The Patient,” was spotted in stores like J. Crew and was wearing a hat from Northwestern University, where is daughter Annie Carell is a current student.

“Steve Carell is shopping at Chestnut Hill Mall,” Tweeted hospitality publicist Nicole Russo.

“This is my second mall spotting of Steve Carell,” she added in a follow-up Tweet. "I saw him about 10 years ago at South Shore Plaza. Dude loves malls.”

Carell was born in Concord and grew up in Acton. He has kept his ties to Massachusetts over the years, including becoming the owner of the Marshfield Hills General Store in 2008.
