Foundry on Elm to Host a Four-Course Beer Dinner

If you're a fan of fine food and proper ale, this is the place to be.

SOMERVILLE, MA - On May 26, Foundry on Elm is bringing in Peak Organic Brewing Company to help create a four-course dinner, each paired with a Peak Organic beer, for just $55.

Peak Organic co-owner Rob Lucente and Foundry beer czar Geoff Thompson will select the brews to accompany the meal prepared by executive chef Shayne Nunes.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a welcoming cocktail of Peak Organic Summer Session Ale Aperol Spritzer, and then it's forks up for the following four courses.

First Course: Humbolt Fog Goat Cheese

Peak Organic High Note apricot chutney, petite arugula salad, smoked almonds and toast points paired with a Peak Organic High Note Belgian White Ale.

Second Course: Spicy Shrimp Ceviche

Local corn, red onion, citrus, cilantro, crispy tortilla chips, Peak Organic Fresh Cut citrus marinade with a Peak Organic Fresh Cut Dry Hopped Pilsner to wash it down.

Third Course: Herb Roasted Leg of Lamb

Charred corn succotash, heirloom cherry tomatoes, crispy shallots in a bordelaise sauce accompanied by a Peak Organic India Pale Ale.

Fourth Course: Bourbon Pecan Pie

Served with a Peak Organic Nut Brown Ale whipped cream. It is paired with the Nut Brown Ale which is aged in WhistlePig Rye Barrells.
