
Sign up now for circus skills classes this summer!
For 38 years, children, teens and adults have learned circus skills from the OPENAIR Circus of Somerville, Medford, Cambridge, Arlington and surrounding communities. Everyone is welcome to learn new skills and join the circus community.
Classes include Baton Twirling*, Devil Sticks*, Diabolo*, Juggling*, Poi*, Stilting*, Unicycling and Yo-yo. New this year: Acro Yoga and Miming! Classes with asterisks are offered at beginning and intermediate levels.

Classes start June 18 and run through August 3. Wednesday afternoon classes are at Nunziato Field approximately 14 Vinal Ave, Somerville, near Union Sq) and on Thursdays at LouAnn David Park (1060 Broadway, Somerville, near Teele Sq) from 4:30-7:30. Each class is an hour.
Registration is free. A donation of $30 per child, $50 per family is suggested but not required and includes as many classes as the student wants.

Wednesday classes are at Nunziato Field at the corner of Vinal Ave and Summer St, Somerville
4:30-5:25: Intermediate Diabolo (ages 7+) and Yo-Yo (8+)
5:30 - 6:25: Acro-Yoga (5-12) and Intermediate Juggling (8+)
6:30 - 7:25: Beginning Juggling (7+), Beginning Stilting (6+) and Intermediate/Advanced Stilting (7+)
Thursdays classes are at Lou Ann David Park at 1060 Broadway, Somerville
4:30 - 5:25: Beginner Diabolo (6+) and Intermediate Poi (7+)
5:30 - 6:25: Intermediate Baton Twirling (8+), Beginning Devil Sticks (8+), and Miming (8+)
6:30 - 7:25: Beginning Baton Twirling (5+), Intermediate Devil Sticks (9+), Beginning Poi (6+), and Unicycling (7+)
