Somer Fest Returning To Somerville After 3-year Absence
The event gives black, indigenous, and people of color an artistic platform.
SOMERVILLE, MA — The Somerville Arts Council and Mayor Katjana Ballantyne announced that the city’s Somer Fest is returning for the first time since 2022.
Somer Fast is a community festival that aims to celebrate and spotlight the culture and talent of entrepreneurial Black, Indigenous, and People of Color in the city.
The event’s return will take place on Saturday, Aug. 2 at Seven Hills Park at 3 p.m. Its events include a lineup of local performers such as musical artists Billie and Mada Silva.

Dos Manos Kitchen will cater food, and other activities will be present.
