Somerville Police Seek Armed Robbery Suspect

Police said a man held up a convenience store clerk at gunpoint on March 23.

SOMERVILLE, MA — Somerville police are searching for a man who robbed a Pearl Street convenience store last week.

The robbery happened at Aggie's Place around 7:30 p.m. on March 23. The suspect pointed a black, semi-automatic handgun at the clerk and demanded money, police said.

Police described the suspect as a Black man, late teens or early twenties, wearing a COVID-style mask, black hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and black and white sneakers. The suspect stole cash from the clerk before fleeing on foot down Franklin Street, toward Webster, police said.

No injuries were reported.
