SOMERVILLE, MA — Mayor Katjana Ballantyne invites residents to the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony that is being held at the City Hall Concourse located at 93 Highland Ave. on Thursday, Dec. 5. The festivities begin at 5 p.m. with live entertainment from resident carolers. Santa is slated to parade into the event on a fire truck with a gift for each child in attendance. Following the tree lighting ceremony, Santa will be available for a meet and greet at Somerville High School cafeteria. Lights refreshments will be available throughout.
