AT&T Names Sudbury Resident as Regional Vice President
Brooke Thomson recently spent time in the Massachusetts Attorney General's office.

Brooke Thomson has had an impressive career.
The Sudbury resident spent six years in the Massachusetts Attorney General’s office, where she served as Chief of the Business, Technology and Economic Development Division. During her time working as a business liaison to the Attorney General’s Office, she was able to work on a variety of issues including telecommunications issues. Prior to that, she worked as legal counsel to the Massachusetts Legislature’s Committee on Telecommunications, Utilities and Energy, where she was able to assist the Committee in drafting major statewide energy legislation entitled the Green Communities Act, in 2007.
Now, Thomson can add the title of vice president to her resume.

AT&T announced recently Thomson was appointed regional vice president of external affairs for Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
"I was thrilled to learn that I would be joining AT&T to serve as the regional vice president for External Affairs," Thomson told Sudbury Patch. "I am excited to be part of such a terrific company with an established record of being a strong corporate citizen. I am also energized to take on this new and exciting professional challenge, and hope to be able to draw on my over 9 years of experience working with the Legislature and other state agencies."

Thomson’s duties will include legislative and regulatory affairs in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
“We are thrilled to have Brooke join our team at AT&T,” Patricia Jacobs, President of AT&T New England, said in a release. “She has a wealth of experience in the telecommunications public policy space and has a proven record of building constructive public and private partnerships.”
Thomson is a graduate of Northeastern University School of Law and Mount Holyoke College. She lives in Sudbury with her husband, David Schwalb, and daughter, Caroline.

She lives in Sudbury with her husband David and daughter Caroline. She has lived in Sudbury for a little more than two years, having previously lived in Westford, Massachusetts.
