• Watertown Schools Awarded $82K State Grant for High-Tech Freight Farm Program (wror.com) — Watertown Public Schools just landed an $82,946 state grant to grow its high-tech Freight Farm and expand the district’s farm-to-school program. Students will soon take a new high-tech farming course, and early harvests of roughly 1,000 heads of lettuce a week are slated for donation to the Watertown Community Fridge at the public library. 
• Police Log: Fraudulent Pop-Up on Laptop, Driver Faces OUI Charge, Suspect Seen Trying to Enter Parked Vehicles (watertownmanews.com) — Watertown residents can see a busy week of local police activity, from package thefts and repeated shoplifting at Target and other stores to vandalism, credit card fraud, and an OUI arrest on Mt. Auburn Street. One resident also lost more than $6,000 after clicking a fake Watertown Savings pop-up, highlighting the need for extra caution with online banking.
