Town Invited to Celebrate Watertown's First Responders
Perkins School for the Blind will host a celebration for the first responders who helped stop the Boston Marathon Bombing suspects.

Watertown residents will have the chance to celebrate and thank the first responders who protected them and stopped the Boston Marathon Bombing suspects at the end of June.
The town will hold a celebration of the Watertown Police officers and members of the Watertown Fire Department and Department of Public Works who faced the bombing suspects and helped bring the second suspect, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, into custody, Town Council President Mark Sideris announced at Tuesday's Town Council meeting.
"After recent events of April 19, it is time to have a town celebration," Sideris said. "We will be honoring the first responders. Everyone is welcome!"
