Watertown Boy's Lacrosse Must Travel for First Round Tournament Game
The Raiders try to go farther than last year when they fell in the second round.

Watertown High School's boys lacrosse team returns to the MIAA State Tournament, and hopes to go farther than last year - which ended in the second round with a heartbreaking loss.
The Raiders (10-8) received the No. 20 seed, and will face No. 13 seed Old Rochester (11-5) for the first round game in the East Section Div. 3 tournament. The match will be played Wednesday, May 29 at 5 p.m. at Old Rochester, which is located in Mattapoisett.
Last year, Watertown earned its first tourney win when they defeated Fairhaven 12-9. The season ended with a hard-fought 10-9 loss in double overtime at Archbishop Williams.
