Watertown Musician Rocks Out for Bikes Not Bombs at Benefit Concert

Watertown's Antonia Killiany joined more than 100 students from around Massachusetts to "Rock the Bike," a three-night benefit concert for Bikes Not Bombs.

The event was held Jan. 18-20 and was presented by Needham-based non-profit rock band program Plugged In, encouraged musicians age 8 to 18 to "create positive change in the world through music," according to a release from Plugged In.

Bikes Not Bombs collects used bicycles and sends them to people in Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean as part of economic development programs.

Plugged In has programs beginning in February and the group will host a housewarming at its new location at 20 Freeman Place in Needham on Sunday, Feb. 10 from 4 p.m.-6 p.m.
