Your Watertown Weather: Rain, Cooler Temperatures to Start the Week

It's going to be a while before we see those summer-like days again.

Hope you enjoyed the summer feel of the weekend, with all that bright sunshine and warm weather as cooler temperatures and rain move in to start the week.

Here’s a look at this week’s weather forecast via The Weather Channel:

  • Monday: Monday’s high is only going to hit 53 degrees, and while the morning starts off dry, rain and wind will move in late morning and afternoon. Monday night calls for steadier rain and possible thunderstorms. Lows Monday night should be around 50 degrees.
  • Tuesday: For Tuesday, expect scattered thunderstorms in the morning with partly sunny skies with a high around 70. Clear skies are on tap for Tuesday night with a low of 45.
  • Wednesday: Wednesday brings back the sunshine with highs in the mid 60s. But Wednesday night we could see some showers early with a low of 42 degrees.
  • Thursday: Thursday will be a partly cloudy day with a high of 55 degrees and a low Thursday night of 37.
  • Friday: Friday we will have more clouds than sun with highs in the 50s and lows again in the 30s.

So far next weekend is shaping up to be partly cloudy with highs near 60. Here’s hoping that changes throughout the week to bring us more sunshine and slightly warmer temperatures.
