Berkeley Police Sergeant Suffered A Stroke While On Duty
A GoFundMe account has been established for her two young children.

BERKELEY TOWNSHIP - Popular Berkeley Police Sgt. Alison Wray was on duty Friday when she suffered a stroke, according to a GoFundMe account established by her brother for her two young boys.
Sgt. Wray died in the hospital on Nov. 3. But she did have a chance to speak to her children before she died.
"Alison passed peacefully and quickly in the hospital after a stroke while she was on duty, and was able to hear her children's voices before she left us," her brother Thomas wrote. "Alison always put her children first, and now our family will do the same for her."

Alison was just 32. She leaves behind her sons, Henry, 4, and Harrison, 2, and her fiancee.
"Alison was a mother of beyond belief, she often joked about being the sterotypical "PTA Mother" and often was very eccentric, to say the least, about proper care for her children," he wrote.

"Sergeant Wray was known for her intelligence, compassion and dedication to her officers whom she considered family," Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.
She is survived by her fiancée, Sgt. Henry Ganska of the Berkeley Township Police Department, their two children Harrison, age 2 and Henry, age 4. Sergeant Wray is also survived by her two stepchildren, Cole age 11 and Reagan, age 15.
"Please keep Sergeant Wray's family in your thoughts and prayers as they mourn their loss," the post states. "Please also keep the officers and civilian staff at Berkeley Township in your prayers, as they have lost a great officer, a great leader, great public servant and a great friend."
Patch will post funeral arrangements as soon as the information is available.
