Complete Obituary For Berkeley Township Police Sergeant
The popular police officer died of a stroke while on duty on Nov. 3

Sgt. Alison J. Wray of the Berkeley Township Police Department and a resident of Toms River, died suddenly on Nov. 3 while on duty. She was 32.
Alison grew up in Bayville and was a 2003 graduate of Central Regional High School. She received her master's degree in forensic psychology and criminal justice from Stockton University.

She is survived by her loving family - Sgt. Henry M. Ganska, of the Berkeley Township Police Department, her children, Henry M. Ganska, Jr. 4, and Harrison Ganska, 2,; her stepchildren Regan Ganska, and Cole Ganska; her mother Eileen Wray, her brother Thomas Wray, her father and stepmother Robert Wray and Barbara Conrad; her aunts and uncles Wendy and Steve McGrath, Sheryl Borkowski and Tommy Moorehead, several cousins, her mother-in-law Caroline Ganska and other members of the Ganska family.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday at the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 11 a.m. on Friday at St. Barnabas R. C. Church, Bayville. Burial will follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood.
