Home Burglaries Targeting Asian Residents Reported In Berkeley

While many similar incidents have been reported in North Jersey, the most recent reports come from Berkeley Township, police said.

BERKELEY, NJ - Home burglaries are on the rise in New Jersey, with a string of recent incidents reported out of Berkeley Township, authorities said.

The burglaries specifically target Asian business owners, Stafford police said in a statement.

While many similar incidents have been reported in North Jersey, the most recent reports come from Berkeley Township, police said.

“Please be aware of your surroundings and take the extra steps to prevent yourself from being a victim,” police added.
