Ocean Gate Rep On Central Regional School Board Defeated
Michael Passeri lost the race for the Ocean Gate seat by 16 voted to Robert Livingston

BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - The incumbent Ocean Gate representative on the Central Regional Board of Education lost his bid for another term on the board on Tuesday.
Michael Passeri lost by only 16 votes in the race for the three-year term to Robert Livingston. He received 238 votes, or 48.08 percent of the votes, compared to Livingston, who received 254 votes, or 51.3 percent.
Seaside Park representative Tracy Mianulli, who ran unopposed, received 311 votes, or 97.19 percent.

Seaside Heights representative Michael A. Graichen received 229 votes or 99.57 percent. Graichen also ran unopposed.
The regional school district accepts students from Berkeley Township, Island Heights, Seaside Heights, Ocean Gate and Seaside Park.
