Additional NJT Trains To Operate From Summit Beginning Thursday

Additional trains have been added to the Morris & Essex Line and Gladstone Branch for people commuting from Summit, according to NJ Transit.

SUMMIT, NJ — Additional trains will operate on the Morris & Essex Line and Gladstone Branch, and enhancements will be made to the current modified schedule starting Thursday, according to an announcement from NJ Transit.

NJ Transit crews continue to successfully make repairs in the Maplewood area, after lines were shut down due to recent storm damage. Summit commuters will have access to additional trains and direct service to New York and Hoboken on the Gladstone Branch.

Customers are advised to reference the modified schedules to take advantage of additional trains and see specific departure times for their commute.
