PSE&G Pipe Replacement In Summit Underway: See Affected Streets

PSE&G has begun replacing gas pipes throughout Summit, and many local roads will be affected.

SUMMIT, NJ — The City announced Monday that the PSE&G project to replace gas pipes throughout Summit is currently underway.

Work on the pipes is expected to continue through December 2022.

PSE&G crews will be working on the following streets in Summit over the next week:

  • Hobart Avenue
  • Fremont Road
  • Hickory Road
  • Summit Avenue

Work will take place Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., weather permitting.
