Summit To Host Earth Day Clean Up Event To Beautify Local Parks
In honor of Earth Day, the Summit community is invited to help clean up local parks and open spaces on Saturday, April 2.
SUMMIT, NJ — With Earth Day coming up on April 22, Summit is inviting the community to join in a city-wide clean up to help beautify the local parks and open spaces.
Summit is hosting the Earth Day Clean-Up on Saturday, April 2 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. People of all ages and abilities are invited to join.
The City said individuals can volunteers on the day of the event at Briant Park or Martin's Brook Park. To participate as a group, volunteers must email event organizers prior to the event to be assigned to a site.

Students in grades 8 to 12 may attend without a parent or guardian with a signed permission form.
Volunteers are advises to bring work gloves and a drink for the clean-up. Community service are also available for those who participate.
